Happy St. Patrick's Day!
In honor of the holiday, we made green Rice Krispies treats last night. Bad idea. Those things are so addictive! But it was sort of necessary to make some sort of green treat in honor of the holiday, ya know?
We had an epic, Disney filled weekend this weekend. It was so much fun. The weather was just perfect (albeit a tad on the hot side ... I can't believe it's already "hot") so our goal was to be outside more than inside, and that's exactly what we did.
On Saturday morning we teamed up with Hubs' parents and headed out to the Boardwalk to rent a surrey bike and ride around the boardwalk.
It was so much fun!! Jillian got to ride in front and ring the bell and yell HIIII at people.
And we got a workout from pedaling around the Boardwalk multiple times. We had such a blast. And I got to use my selfie stick to take pictures and the most epic video ever (if I could figure out how to put it on the blog I would, but I'm not that savvy).
I can't wait to go back and do it again.
Afterwards we had lunch on the Boardwalk at Big River Brewery.
And the we let Jillian run around for a while enjoying the weather.
A great way to spend the morning.
After naps and a little relaxing at home, it was time to go back out to Disney for a Disney dining date at Mama Melrose's at Hollywood Studios. It was a gorgeous night so we wandered around the park, ate dinner, wandered around a little more, looked for Baymax some more (a cast member told us that they had gotten a shipment in that morning and they were completely sold out resort-wide by noon - how crazy is that? Apparently Baymax is popular) and then headed home. It was a good night out. Great day!
Sunday we got up early and went to church, hung out at home for a while and then we were itching to get back out, so we wandered around the All Star Resort for a while and got some dinner.
Yep, that's three Disney meals in one weekend. We are determined to eat at every restaurant our Tables in Wonderland discount allows. We're dorks.
And now it's a new (crazy) week. Why must the weekends go by so fast?
How about you ... How was your weekend? Do anything good?
